Another step in figuring out how to earn extra money is figuring out what you're really motivated to do.  Are you willing to take your Saturday and Sunday mornings and turn them into profit? That familiar sensation of adrenalin rushing through your system can be frightening, heightening and escalating your anxiety. Remember that there is really nothing to fear. Take deep, slow breaths. If your anxiety is severe, sit down and put your head between your knees for a minute. Make a conscious effort to relax your body, breathing slowly, deeply and evenly. You'll find that when you concentrate on relaxing and breathing properly, you'll be diverted from the anxiety and gain a sense of control. When learning how to deal with anxiety, understanding and experiencing the control you have over your own body can be one of the most effective techniques at your disposal.

2.Keep a small notebook handy to record each incident of anxiety, along with what you're doing or thinking about at the time. Including the time of day can also be helpful. After just a week or two, patterns are likely to emerge. For example, you may start your day with a few cups of coffee. You may be sitting at work, performing a boring task. Your mind wanders and you begin thinking about bills coming due which you can't cover on time. The caffeine is a stimulant, which opens the door to anxiety. Combined with your worrying, this can bring on anxiety attacks. Learning how to deal with anxiety involves breaking these sorts of patterns. Cut back on your morning coffee. When your mind begins to wander, get up and take a ten minute walk, focusing on your breathing and actively think about something pleasurable. Determine to set aside some time this evening to tackle the financial problem with a practical plan.

3.Make a point of working in short, 10 or 15 minute periods of exercise at least three times a day. Doing some stretching exercises before work and using your breaks at work to take a walk outside is one surprisingly effective technique in learning how to deal with anxiety. You'll find it's difficult to worry when you're physically active.

4.Food allergies have been implicated in some cases of chronic anxiety. Avoid such foods, replacing them with fresh, unprocessed foods.

5.If following these steps results in a significant reduction in your anxiety, you know you've now got a handle on how to deal with anxiety. It's also a good idea to make an appointment with your doctor to discuss the problem, in any case. Bring your notebook with you and let your doctor look it over. He or she may have further suggestions, based on your individual health history, which may be helpful to you. Your doctor may determine that an anti-anxiety medicine should be used, on a short term basis.

Japanese comic books, or manga, have swept American shores in the last few years, singlehandedly revitalizing the struggling comic book market. Hit titles like Dragonball, Death Note, and Bleach bring fast action and dynamic characters to life in page after page of stylized black and white artwork. And now American creators are getting in on the manga boom as well, creating their own epics that are seeing print in both America and Japan. If you have ever wanted to do your own, this guide will teach you how to draw manga from the ground up  panel borders, characters, vehicles, backgrounds, and more. As a professional cartoonist, I feel that I am uniquely suited to guide the learner in exploring this exciting new art form.

The most important thing in learning how to draw manga is fairly simple  even though manga has a number of rules that most artists work within, there is still plenty of room for you to demonstrate your own style as an artist. The difference between manga legends like Katsuhiro Otomo and Osamu Tezuka is fairly broad, but they are both instantly recognizable as manga. How to draw manga is not a set of specific instructions, but rather help in getting into the mindset of a manga creator, or manga-ka, and understanding what makes it unique.

One major difference between manga and Western comics is that manga reads from right to left  the opposite direction as you are used to. One of the biggest hurdles in learning how to draw manga is getting over the flipped direction. However, this can help you grow as an artist  examining a drawing from an unusual perspective can assist in finding compositional flaws. If you are still having problems, draw your pages as normal and reverse them in an image editing program such as Adobe Photoshop.

Such a simple exercise can wreak havoc with both kids and adults who never learned how to balance a checkbook. Here's the foolproof method on how to balance a checkbook and keep your finances straight.

We'll start with a clean slate. You've opened a checking account with a $100 deposit. You write checks against that amount, make deposits, use the ATM to withdraw funds and also pay bills online with your checking account debit card. At the end of the month, you receive a bank statement. The amount differs from your calculations. Now what? Here are the seven easy steps on how to balance a checkbook.

1.Start with your beginning balance. In this case, you deposited $100 to your checking account.
2.Add in all your deposits. Most often, this consists of your paycheck. However, you may have received monies from other sources, such as cash receipts for babysitting or tax refunds. Keeping accurate records is key.
3.Deduct all of your checks and card purchases, bank and ATM fees. If you used your check card to withdraw funds from your checking account, you must include any ATM fees and bank fees.
4.Determine items which are outstanding. Let's say you paid your phone bill online, but the payment has not yet been deducted. Add these amounts to your bank statement balance. Adding such amounts does not increase your actual bank balance. These additions only allow you to reconcile your records with the bank's figure.
5.This figure should agree with your bank statement.
6.Subtract outstanding items. You know the phone bill payment will hit your bank eventually, surely within a few days. Don't mislead yourself in assuming these payments aren't part of reality. This figure is what you have in the bank.
7.If you find a difference between your ending balance in step 5 and the bank's, track it down. These discrepancies are often easy to find. Let's say you find a difference of $39.95. That amount may ring a bell. Oh yes, I forgot to record that purchase I made over the net. Perhaps you find just a $2.00 difference, in the bank's favor. Did you use an ATM which charged a $2.00 fee for the convenience? Did the bank make a mistake and charge you a $2.00 fee which was not a part of your checking account plan? Straighten these types of differences out immediately.

Fuel economy mileage is more important than ever before, and it is only going to get more important. People put all kinds of money into how to improve gas mileage, buying every device that they can get their hands on. My cousin is like this. He is a notorious tinkerer, spending hour upon hour on his car every weekend. Although I am sure that some of the products that he uses work, some of them don't.
